Introduction
The Government of the Republic of Cyprus and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia signed a Protocol of Cooperation on Research and Development on the 15th April 2005. The Protocol of Cooperation was signed in the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Governments of the two countries in the fields of Education, Culture and Science. The aim of the Protocol is to strengthen and develop the scientific and technological cooperation and enhance the cooperation of organizations from both countries in European networks. The main provision of the Protocol is the announcement of a Joint Research Cooperation Programme, which invites researchers from both countries to implement joint research and development projects.
