Introduction
The Government of the Republic of Cyprus and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt signed a Protocol of Scientific Cooperation on Research and Development on the 4th May 2006. In the framework of this Protocol, a Joint Research Cooperation Programme will be launched, inviting parties from the two countries to submit research proposals.
The first Joint Research Cooperation Programme was launched on the 31st of August 2007 having the 31st of October 2007 as the final deadline for the submission of research proposals.
