Please note the following:
  • The participation of the Cypriot research community in the EUROCORES scheme is supported by RPF via its National Framework Programme 2009-2010 through the ‘Participation in ESF’ Programme, as it requires the provision of financial support beyond the annual subscription fee.
  • ESF announces a common annual call for proposals across all the Standing Committees regarding new Exploratory Workshops. The selection procedure is completed within six (6) months of the announcement of the call.
  • Cypriot researchers can submit an application to ESF for participating in already approved Research Conferences, but they are not allowed to submit a proposal concerning the organisation of a conference in Cyprus, as RPF does not support this scheme at this point in time.
  • Young Investigators can submit a proposal for ‘European Young Investigator Awards’ to a member organisation of ESF, which supports this specific Scheme. Research institutions in Cyprus, however, are not allowed to host young researchers from abroad, as the RPF does not support this activity at this point in time.
More information about the latest calls for proposals relating to the abovementioned activities, as well as the rules of participation, can be found in the respective web pages or in the relevant announcements by the RPF.
