Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the highest in hierarchy executive and managerial body of the Foundation and is comprised by the following members:
-The current Director General of the Planning Bureau, ex officio
-Τhe current Director General of the Agricultural Research Institute, ex officio
-The current Director General of the Scientific Research Center, ex officio
-The current Director General of the Technology Foundation, ex officio
-Τhe current Rector of the University of Cyprus, ex officio
-Seven members appointed by the Council of Ministers following the suggestion of the Minister of Finance. The members are characterised by professional excellence and they are to their majority scientists. They are appointed based on their level of knowledge regarding science and technology and they may also be qualified individuals with extended knowledge of the Cyprus economy.

Following the appointment of the members of the Board of Directors, the Council of Ministers chooses two of the members to be the President and the Vice-President.
