{"id":10931,"date":"2021-01-13T08:33:24","date_gmt":"2021-01-13T06:33:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/?p=10931"},"modified":"2022-07-15T11:15:20","modified_gmt":"2022-07-15T08:15:20","slug":"questionnaire-for-feedback-on-euratom-funded-nuclear-research-deadline-17-january-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/en\/questionnaire-for-feedback-on-euratom-funded-nuclear-research-deadline-17-january-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Questionnaire for feedback on Euratom funded nuclear research (Deadline 17 January 2021)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the framework of preparations for the implementation of the Euratom Research and Training Programme 2021-2025, Research and Innovation Foundation invites interested parties to contribute by completing the relevant <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eusurvey\/runner\/Euratom_Research_2020\">questionnaire<\/a> prepared by the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Through this survey, the Commission is looking for feedback from research stakeholders and other interested parties on different aspects of research and training in nuclear safety, waste management, radiation protection and fusion energy. European added-value is a cornerstone of the Euratom programme, so the Commission particularly welcomes views and position papers on issues of relevance for nuclear research from organisations and networks with a cross-border dimension.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The questionnaire can be found at the following link:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eusurvey\/runner\/Euratom_Research_2020\">https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eusurvey\/runner\/Euratom_Research_2020<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and will be accessible until <strong>Sunday, 17 January at 11.59 p.m. CET.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The total budget for the implementation of the new Euratom programme for the period 2021-2025 is expected to be around EUR 1.38 billion. The new programme will pursue the current programme&#8217;s key research activities (<strong>nuclear safety<\/strong>, <strong>security<\/strong>, <strong>radioactive waste and spent fuel management<\/strong>, <strong>radiation protection<\/strong> and <strong>fusion energy<\/strong>), expand research into <strong>non-power applications of ionising radiation<\/strong> and make improvements in the areas of <strong>education, training and access to research infrastructures<\/strong>.
