Following this introductory event, an interactive proposal writing workshop will take place on the 8<sup>th<\/sup> of July 2022, with physical presence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event aims to inform potential applicants about the ERC grants, in view of the upcoming 2023 Calls for Proposals expected to be announced in July 2022. The 2023 ERC Work Programme is part of HORIZON EUROPE, the EU\u2019s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, 2021-2027. Presentations will cover the different funding schemes of ERC, the profile of the ERC applicant, the expected characteristics of the proposed project and more. The ERC grants will be presented by Dr Angela Liberatore, Head of the Scientific Department \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 ERC, while also Prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/erc.europa.eu\/erc_member\/andrzej-jajszczyk\">Andrzej<\/a> Jajszczyk, member of the ERC Scientific Council, Chair of the Widening European Participation Working Group, will extent a welcome speech. Additionally, ERC Grantees and Panel Members will share their experience from the proposal preparation, submission and evaluation stage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The detailed agenda of the event is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/Agenda-ERC-Info-Day-2023-Calls-1.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The ERC supports research of the highest quality in Europe, offering long term, competitive funding to excellent researchers, in order to implement ground breaking, cutting edge research projects, with the only criterion being scientific excellence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target group of the event<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event targets excellent researchers, interested to submit proposals in the frame of the 2023 ERC Calls (Starting Grant, Consolidator Grant, Advanced Grant, Synergy Grant).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registration is done via the following <a href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_SDgKsJn9Sx-tJJGJGkS4DQ\">link<\/a>.
