{"id":18806,"date":"2023-03-07T09:21:28","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T07:21:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/?p=18806"},"modified":"2023-03-15T14:42:49","modified_gmt":"2023-03-15T12:42:49","slug":"new-call-for-applications-of-the-sponsorships-programme-sponsorships-0323","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/en\/new-call-for-applications-of-the-sponsorships-programme-sponsorships-0323\/","title":{"rendered":"New Call for Applications of the Sponsorships Programme (SPONSORSHIPS\/0323)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new call for proposals for the Sponsorships Programme (SPONSORSHIPS\/0323).<\/p>\n<p>The RIF\u2019s Sponsorships Programme promotes the Foundation&#8217;s strategic goal of nurturing a Culture of Research and Innovation (R&amp;I) in the ecosystem and the wider public through actions that support R&amp;I, including skills development. The Programme includes the following actions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Organisation of Events to promote research, technological development and innovation to the public,<\/li>\n<li>Organisation of Events to promote digital skills, STEM, as well as their use in innovation and entrepreneurship, and<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>III.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Representation of Cyprus in International Science, Research and Innovation Competitions.<\/p>\n<p>The call budget is \u20ac340.000, and the maximum funding is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac40.000 for a Large Scale Event,<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac10.000 for a Medium Scale Event,<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac500 per team member that represents Cyprus in an International Competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entities eligible to participate in this programme include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>entities legally established and active in territories under the control of the Republic of Cyprus, or<\/li>\n<li>team leaders who are responsible for the Representation of Cyprus in an International Competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposals have to be submitted by sending the relevant application form at <a href=\"mailto:sponsorship@research.org.cy\">sponsorship@research.org.cy<\/a>. The Programme is divided in two Periods thus:<\/p>\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup> Period: Implementation period 15\/04\/2023 -15\/11\/2023 with deadline <strong><u>31\/03\/2023<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Period: Implementation period 16\/11\/2023 \u2013 15\/06\/2024 with deadline <strong><u>31\/10\/2023<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the Representation of Cyprus in International Competitions, applications need to be submitted before <strong><u>31\/05\/2024<\/u><\/strong> or until budget exhaustion.<\/p>\n<p>Part of this Programme is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility of the NextGenerationEU instrument.
