The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), in collaboration with the European Research Council (ERC), co-organises an info-day on the upcoming Calls for Proposals in the frame of the 2024 ERC Work Programme (WP), on Tuesday 11 July 2023,<\/strong> 11:00 \u2013 13:30 (Cyprus time)<\/strong>, online, via ZOOM. Following this introductory event, an interactive proposal writing workshop will take place on the 12th<\/sup> of July 2023, with physical presence, for a limited number of participants.<\/p>\n

The event aims to inform potential applicants about the ERC grants, with emphasis on the novelties of the 2024 ERC WP, which is part of HORIZON EUROPE, the EU\u2019s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, 2021-2027. Presentations will cover the different funding schemes of ERC and their specificities, by Dr Gordana Popovic, ERC Research Programme Agent of the ERC Executive Agency<\/strong> (ERCEA), while the<\/strong> ERC WP 2024 novelties will be presented by Dr Dace Rambaka, Policy Analyst, ERCEA. Additionally, Dr Davide Innocenti, ERC Project Adviser, ERCEA, will present support measures offered to applicants by ERC, while the ERC National Contact point will present services offered at national level. In addition, ERC Grantees, Dr Artemis Georgiou and Dr Margarita Chli, will share their personal experience from proposal preparation and submission and project implementation.<\/p>\n

The event targets excellent researchers, interested to submit proposals in the frame of the 2024 ERC Calls (Starting Grant, Consolidator Grant, Advanced Grant, Synergy Grant).<\/p>\n
