RIF: \u20ac1.2 million at the disposal of Cypriot startups<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>New funding opportunities through the PRE-SEED programme<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As part of its efforts to strengthen startup and innovative entrepreneurship in Cyprus, the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new call of the PRE-SEED programme, with a total budget of \u20ac1.2 million.<\/p>\n

The PRE-SEED programme aims to accelerate the development of a startup while the funding covers, among other things, the first steps of operation, recruitment, prototype development, business plan development, and marketing and branding activities.<\/p>\n

The maximum funding per project is \u20ac119,999. For more information, please study the call here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Proposals can be submitted via the IRIS platform. The deadline is 1 November 2024.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the institutions selected for funding will automatically benefit from the free innovation support services and knowledge transfer tools offered by the RIF. The calls are co-funded by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA 2021-2027”.<\/p>\n
