{"id":25317,"date":"2025-04-11T14:25:15","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T11:25:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/?p=25317"},"modified":"2025-04-11T14:25:15","modified_gmt":"2025-04-11T11:25:15","slug":"announcement-of-stage-a-evaluation-results-for-the-pre-seed-0824-call-of-the-creation-and-initial-development-of-startups-with-international-orientation-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/en\/announcement-of-stage-a-evaluation-results-for-the-pre-seed-0824-call-of-the-creation-and-initial-development-of-startups-with-international-orientation-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcement of Stage A Evaluation Results for the PRE-SEED\/0824 Call of the \u00abCREATION AND INITIAL DEVELOPMENT OF STARTUPs WITH INTERNATIONAL ORIENTATION\u00bb Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the evaluation results of STAGE A\u2019 for proposals submitted for the PRE-SEED\/0824 Call for proposals of the \u201cCreation and Initial Development of Startups with International Orientation\u201d programme.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cPRE-SEED\/0824\u201d call was announced on the 1<sup>st<\/sup> of August 2024 and the deadline for submission of proposals was on the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of November 2024. The results have been announced through the IRIS poral and are available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/Results_Pre-Seed_0824.pdf\"><strong><u>here<\/u><\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Each proposal was evaluated remotely by two (2) independent evaluators, as described in the RESTART 2016 \u2013 2020 Work Programme.\u00a0The following proposals procced to Stage B: (i) the first five (5) ranked Proposals according to their Final Evaluation Score, starting with the highest scoring proposal (in descending order) with Women Project Coordinators, and (ii) the rest proposals ranked according to their Final Evaluation Score, starting with the highest scoring proposal (in descending order), until the aggregated requested funding of the Proposals equals to the double of the available Call budget, and provided that the Proposals are deemed eligible for qualifying to Stage B. In case where eligible proposals with the same score are ranked at the bottom of the ranking list, the proposals will proceed to Stage B.<\/p>\n<p>In the Second Stage of Evaluation, RIF will follow the evaluation method of the Scientific Evaluation Committee. The Committee will consist of experts with a business background.
