The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new call for proposals for the \u201cPRIMA\u201d programme.<\/p>\n

The PRIMA programme aims to face common challenges of the Mediterranean region such as climate change, food security, water scarcity and unsustainable agrifood systems.<\/p>\n

The thematic areas (Section 2) are the following:<\/p>\n

1\u00a0 \u00a0Thematic Area 1-Water Management in the Nexus:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Topic 2.1.1-2025 (RIA) Enhancing Policy Development through Impact-Driven Water Footprint and Virtual Water Concepts in the Mediterranean Region.<\/p>\n

2\u00a0\u00a0 Thematic Area 2-Farming systems in the Nexus:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Topic 2.2.1-2025 (RIA) Upscaling Agroecology Practices at the Farm Level in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thematic Area 3-Food value chain in the Nexus:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Topic 2.3.1-2025 (RIA) Towards a Plant-Based Alternative Protein products Transition in the Mediterranean Region.<\/p>\n

The total budget is \u20ac400.000, and the maximum funding per project is \u20ac200.000.<\/p>\n

Proposals must be submitted to a dedicated platform found on the\u00a0website of PRIMA<\/a>\u00a0and the deadline for proposal submissions is\u00a08th<\/sup>\u00a0of July 2025, 17.00 (Barcelona time).<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Moreover, the Cypriot consortia need to submit information about their proposal through the\u00a0IRIS portal<\/a>\u00a0and the deadline for submissions is the\u00a015th<\/sup>\u00a0of July 2025, 13.00 (local time).<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Organisations eligible to participate in this programme include Research Organisations, Enterprises and Other Organisations.<\/p>\n
