{"id":26680,"date":"2025-09-20T12:52:59","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T09:52:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/?p=26680"},"modified":"2025-09-22T10:11:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-22T07:11:11","slug":"call-for-proposals-for-the-post-doc-program-post-doc-0925-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.research.org.cy\/en\/call-for-proposals-for-the-post-doc-program-post-doc-0925-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Proposals for the \u201cPost-Doc\u201d Program (POST-DOC\/0925)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) informs interested entities about the opportunity to submit proposals under the <em>Call for Proposals<\/em> for the \u201cPost-Doc\u201d Program (POST-DOC\/0925), which is part of the \u201cRESTART 2016-2020\u201d Programs for Research, Technological Development, and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>\u201cPost-Doc\u201d<\/em> Program aims to support existing and integrate new post-doctoral scientists into the Research, Technological Development, and Innovation (RTDI) system of Cyprus, for the implementation of high-level research projects. The program seeks to engage post-doctoral researchers in the development of new research activities, create a critical mass of researchers in cutting-edge scientific fields, and generate sustainable, highly specialized job positions for the employment of young scientists. Additionally, the Program is expected to contribute to addressing the issue of brain drain, a phenomenon that has worsened in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed projects must fall within one of the following Scientific Areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Life Sciences<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical Sciences and Engineering<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Social and Human Sciences<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The total budget for the national call is \u20ac4.600.000, distributed as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac1.650.000 for the <em>Life Sciences<\/em> Scientific Area<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac1.650.000 for the <em>Physical Sciences and Engineering<\/em> Scientific Area<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac1.300.000 for the <em>Social and Human Sciences<\/em> Scientific Area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The submission deadline for proposals through the <a href=\"https:\/\/iris.research.org.cy\/#!\/\">IRIS portal<\/a> of the RIF is <strong>November 28, 2025<\/strong>, at 13:00.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals for the <em>\u201cPost-Doc\u201d<\/em> Program can be submitted via the <a href=\"https:\/\/iris.research.org.cy\/\">IRIS Portal<\/a> of the RIF.
