The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new call for proposals for the \u201cBRIDGE2HORIZON\u201d programme.<\/p>\n
The Call is open until 29 May 2026 or until the available budget is exhausted<\/strong> deadline. Submission of Proposal is done through IRIS<\/a>.<\/p>\n The call budget is \u20ac500.000, and the maximum funding per project is \u20ac100.000.<\/p>\n The \u201cBRIDGE2HORIZON\u201d Programme aims to strengthen the capacities of Cypriot R&I entities and promote scientific excellence in specific thematic areas and fields of the Smart Specialization Strategy for Cyprus (S3CY) for the period 2023-2030 which are in turn aligned with the thematic priorities and challenges that the EU seeks to address in the context of upcoming Work Programmes of the EC\u2019s Horizon Europe Programme for Research and Innovation. By extension, the Programme also aims to increase the coordination of collaborative projects and the leadership of pan-European networks by Cypriot entities in proposals submitted in Pillar II \u2013 Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness and the European Missions of the Horizon Europe Programme.<\/p>\n The present Call will be co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in the frame of the Operational Programme \u00ab\u0398\u0391\u03bb\u0395\u0399\u0391\u00bb 2021-2027.<\/p>\n The Host Organisation must be a Research Organisation (A.1, A.2), Enterprise (B.1., B.2, B.3) or Other Organisations (C).<\/p>\n Research Organisations (A), Enterprises (B) or Other Organisations (C) may participate as additional Partner Organisations.<\/p>\n The Consortium must consist of at least one Enterprise (Category B) and one Research Organisation (Category A).<\/strong><\/p>\n The documents for the current Call for Proposals (Call Documents) are available on the IRIS portal under the announcement of the Call.<\/p>\n For information regarding the RIF\u2019s open calls<\/a>, as well as useful documents and guides<\/a>, interested parties can visit the IRIS portal.<\/p>\n In order to support interested parties and to provide information about the national funding rules and conditions for participation, RIF, will organise an informative Webinar, on Friday 3 April 2026<\/u>, time 12:00-13:00 <\/u>(local time). Participants may submit any enquiries in advance, during their registration.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n To facilitate the development of partnerships between research organizations and enterprises, the Foundation offers the MatchMe Program and the RIF Partner Search Tool to interested parties.<\/p>\n
