The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the new call for proposals for the \u201cPRIMA\u201d programme.<\/p>\n

The PRIMA programme aims to face common challenges of the Mediterranean region such as climate change, food security, water scarcity and unsustainable agrifood systems.<\/p>\n

The thematic areas (Section 2) are the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Thematic Area 1-Water Management in the Nexus:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Topic 2.1.1-2026 (RIA) Leveraging Ecosystem Functions and Enhancing Water Allocation for the Protection and Restoration of Non-Perennial Watercourses in the Mediterranean<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Thematic Area 2-Farming systems in the Nexus:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Topic 2.2.1-2026 (RIA) Novel remote and non-invasive ICT monitoring and control systems against disease and pest infestation<\/p>\n

      1. Thematic Area 3-Food value chain in the Nexus:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Topic 2.3.1-2026 (RIA) Empowering Mediterranean Food Value Chains through Context-Aware Digital Traceability<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        The total budget is \u20ac310.000, and the maximum funding per project is \u20ac155.000.<\/p>\n

        The deadline for submission of the\u00a0Transnational Proposal<\/a>\u00a0is the\u00a015th<\/sup>\u00a0of May, 15.00 (Barcelona time)<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        The deadline for submission of the Proposal to\u00a0IRIS<\/a>\u00a0is the\u00a022nd<\/sup>\u00a0of May 13.00 (local time)<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        Organisations eligible to participate in this programme include Research Organisations, Enterprises and Other Organisations.<\/p>\n
