Announcement of New Challenge – Flagship Funding Programme “AI in Government” Innovative Artificial Intelligence Solutions for the Public Sector

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, announces a new challenge under the flagship funding programme “AI in Government”, aiming to develop innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to modernise the public sector.

This new challenge is issued by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works Challenge and concerns the Smart Optimization of Public Transport.

Budget: €650,000

Deadline for proposal submission: 27 February 2026, 13:00
