“Horizon Europe” Framework Programme for R&I 2021–2027 Announcement of the 2025 Work Programme and Calls by the European Commission
The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) wishes to inform all interested parties that the European Commission (EC) has officially announced the new “Horizon Europe” Work Programme for 2025 (including relevant Work Programmes for Clusters 1-6 and other thematic and horizontal priorities), featuring Calls for Proposals for 2025 with a total budget of over €7.2 billion.

The first Calls for Proposals have officially opened on 15 May 2025 and are available for proposal submission via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
Kindly note that the Work Programme 2025 is the only single-year Work Programme to be announced under “Horizon Europe”. The next Work Programme, expected to cover the two-year period 2026–2027, is anticipated to be announced by the EC at the end of 2025.
“Horizon Europe” Programme and National Contact Points
“Horizon Europe” is the EU’s 9th Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, running from 2021 to 2027, with a total budget of €95.5 billion.
