Opportunities for research funding in the treatment of rare diseases. Call for Proposals of the «European Partnerships – «European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ΕRDERA)» (EP/ERDERA/0126)
The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announces the call for proposals for the “European Partnerships – European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ΕRDERA)” titled «Resolving unsolved cases in rare genetic and non-genetic diseases» (EP/ERDERA/0126).
The call budget €2.141.760 and the maximum funding per project is €1.000.000.
The deadline for submission of the Transnational Proposal is 12 February 2026, 14.00 (CET).
The deadline for submission of the Proposal to IRIS is 19 of February 2026 13.00 (local time).
The European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ERDERA) has been established to further help in coordinating the research efforts of European, Associated and non-European countries in the field of rare diseases and implement the objectives of the International Rare Disease Research Consortium (IRDiRC).
The present Call will be co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in the frame of the Operational Programme «ΘΑλΕΙΑ» 2021-2027 under Priority 1: «Competitive, Smart and Digital Economy» and the Specific Objective (1i): “Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and the uptake of advanced technologies”.
Entities eligible to participate in this programme include Research Organisations, Enterprises and Other Public or Private Sector Organisations
