Online Training Seminar “Effective Trade Fair Participation”, May 13 and 15, 2025

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), within the framework of its activities under the Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus to support the internationalization of Cypriot enterprises, informs interested parties of the opportunity to participate in the online training seminar titled “Effective Trade Fair Participation”, which will take place on May 13 and 15, 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00 local time, as follows:

  • Module 1 – May 13, 2025, 10:00 – 13:00 local time: Success factors for participating in international trade fairs, preparation/strategy, methods for increasing sales and attracting customers, and how to prepare an effective business and product/service pitch.
  • Module 2 – May 15, 2025, 10:00 – 13:00 local time: Preparing effective presentations (pitches, product demos), skills for building new contacts, and conducting successful meetings.

The seminar, which will be delivered by an experienced international trainer with extensive expertise in the above topics, aims to support Cyprus-based technology-oriented companies that offer products and services in international markets. It is intended for those planning to participate in upcoming international trade fairs/events (e.g., GITEX Europe 2025) or considering participation in exhibitions later in 2025 (e.g., Slush 2025). The goal is to help them make the most of their participation by providing practical knowledge and techniques for effectively presenting their products/services, attracting customer/visitor interest, and networking. The seminar will be conducted in English.

Interested parties are invited to register for the seminar here. Each company is kindly requested to initially submit one registration. Participation will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and the maximum number of participants is limited to 30.

To better tailor the seminar to participants’ needs, registrants are encouraged to briefly outline, during registration, their specific needs and the challenges they face related to the seminar topics, as well as indicate the international trade fair they plan to attend in the near future.
