Two Years of Full Operation of the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) of the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF)

The CKTO offers a wide range of knowledge transfer and research commercialization services, including, among others, the development of intellectual property (IP) protection strategies, the identification of commercialization opportunities, and the development of knowledge transfer (KT) skills and capacities at the national level.

These services are provided free of charge and are available to all stakeholders within the ecosystem.

During its first two years of operation, services were delivered for 86 cases. In addition, 12 local knowledge transfer offices have received capacity-building support on relevant topics, while 26 training workshops were organized to further strengthen the skills of local offices.

The CKTO is funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, “Cyprus Tomorrow”.
