Αναζήτηση Συνεργατών για Υποβολή Προτάσεων Έργου στο Πλαίσιο της Κοινωνικής Πρόκλησης «Secure Societies» του Προγράμματος Horizon 2020

Το Ίδρυμα Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας (ΙδΕΚ) επιθυμεί να ενημερώσει τους ενδιαφερόμενους για τις παρακάτω αναζητήσεις συνεργατών από την Κύπρο, στο πλαίσιο των Προσκλήσεων Υποβολής Προτάσεων της Κοινωνικής Πρόκλησης 7 (ΚΠ7) «Ασφαλείς Κοινωνίες-Secure Societies» του Προγράμματος Horizon 2020.

Συγκεκριμένα, οι παρακάτω φορείς αναζητούν δίκτυα συνεργασίας τα οποία σκοπεύουν να υποβάλουν Προτάσεις Έργων στο πλαίσιο των ακόλουθων θεματικών περιοχών (topics) του Προγράμματος Εργασίας:

Partner Profile: Consorzio C.R.E.O. – Not-for-profit research organization and Consortium of Universities and Enterprises, specialized in chemical & biological opto-electronic sensors – Italy

Topic: SU-DRS04-2019-2020: Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) cluster

Expertise Offered: Develop and demonstrate a CBRN alarm network designed for integration in public buildings and infrastructures.

Expertise Needed: End users interested to support the specification of requirements, the definition of use cases and final demonstration:

– entities in charge of transport infrastructures (e.g. airports) or other public settings hosting a high number of persons (e.g. sports arenas, museums, conference centres, etc.),

– first responders in charge of providing first response at the infrastructure.

Partner Profile: Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía (ITE) – Research and Technology Organisation with experience in energy systems and with grid labs – Spain

Topic: SU-DS04-2018-2020: Cybersecurity in the Electrical Power and Energy System (EPES): an armour against cyber and privacy attacks and data breaches

Expertise Offered: A high fidelity real-length LV neighbourhood Grid Lab (TRL5 + TRL6) to test cyberattacks over smart meters, and EV charging stations, data concentrators, connectors and protocols, without putting at risk the actual EPES infrastructure.

Partner Profile: Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA) – Public research establishment attached to the Spanish Ministry of Defence and specialized in Security, Space, Aeronautics and Nautics – Spain

Topicss: SU-DS03-2019-2020: Digital Security and privacy for citizens and Small and Medium Enterprises and Micro Enterprises

SU-DS04-2018-2020: Cybersecurity in the Electrical Power and Energy System (EPES): an armour against cyber and privacy attacks and data breaches

Expertise Offered: – Experience and capabilities in software and hardware development including security in all phases of the architecture design.

– Capacity to perform the bastion of systems, specification of security requirements, cases of abuse, threat modelling, security analysis of source code, penetration testing and security analysis of WEB applications.

– Simulation of attacks against electrical infrastructure and resilience testing of Energy plants.

SU-GM01-2018-2019-2020: Pan-European networks of practitioners and other actors in the field of security – (a) Practitioners (end-users) in the same discipline and from across Europe – Option 1: security and intelligence services

SU-AI01-2020: Developing a research roadmap regarding Artificial Intelligence in support of Law Enforcement (CSA action)

SU-DS02-2020: Intelligent security and privacy management (i.e. in relation to the development of secure access to potential share and delivery services to deliver digital EO product and services)

SU-FCT03-2018-2019-2020: Information and data stream management to fight against (cyber)crime and terrorism

Expertise Offered: Delivery of geospatial intelligence products and services in support to the EU decision-making process for the implementation of EU security-related policies. This would be a key asset for R&I projects in which pilot services and prototypes including the use of EO data have to be designed and validated.

Expertise Offered: Digital adoption and use of threat simulations to provide real-time interfaces that provide responders with information they need in the event of a fire emergency.

Expertise Needed: Firefighters Corps, Brigades, Fire Departments (not Academies) as End users or Advisory Board.

SU-FCT03-2018-2019-2020: Information and data stream management to fight against (cyber)crime and terrorism

SU-DRS01-2018-2019-2020: Human factors, and social, societal, and organizational aspects for disaster-resilient societies

Expertise Offered: Sant Boi represents a generic “urban metropolitan area” with a territory with a confluence of a large number and a variety of important infrastructures in very little space, including energy and water supply infrastructures, train and train-related infrastructures, as well as telecommunications infrastructures, etc. Sant Boi expects to be able to offer viable scenarios where the solutions proposed may take place.

Expertise Offered: Conceptivity can contribute by engaging the SME security industry community for the benefit of the proposal. In addition, with users being key for successful proposals, Conceptivity can bring the user community (law enforcement and government agencies) to the consortium.

SU-AI02-2020: Secure and resilient Artificial Intelligence technologies, tools and solutions in support of Law Enforcement and citizen protection, cybersecurity operations and prevention and protection against adversarial Artificial Intelligence

Expertise Offered: Development of an intelligent system for forensic handwriting identification. JAS has experience in biometrics (image, fingerprints, behaviour etc.), artificial intelligence, image analysis, telecommunications and security systems.

Expertise Needed: Other end-users (police forensic laboratories), technology providers, experts in handwriting examination (universities and Police), potential coordinator.

Η Κοινωνική Πρόκληση “Secure societies – Protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens” έχει ως στόχο την ανάπτυξη νέων τεχνολογιών και γνώσεων που θα κατοχυρώνουν την ασφάλεια των πολιτών, της κοινωνίας και της οικονομίας. Αποσκοπεί επίσης στη διασφάλιση των περιουσιακών στοιχείων, των υποδομών και υπηρεσιών ζωτικής σημασίας, αλλά και της ευημερίας και πολιτικής σταθερότητας στην Ευρώπη, από φυσικές ή ανθρωπογενείς καταστροφές.

Ο προϋπολογισμός των συνολικά 20 ανοικτών Προσκλήσεων της Κοινωνικής Πρόκλησης «Secure Societies», που δημοσιεύθηκαν στις 12 Μαρτίου 2020, ανέρχεται στα 275 εκατομμύρια ευρώ. Καταληκτική ημερομηνία υποβολής προτάσεων είναι η 27η Αυγούστου 2020 και ώρα 17.00 (ώρα Βρυξελλών).
